Importancia de la inversión pública en materia de educación para promover el desarrollo económico en la provincia del Guayas en el período 2014-2016

Abstract:

With the arrival of Econ. Rafael Correa fiscal policy became an important tool to generate growth and development in the country, where public spending on investment became the essential instrument to achieve this goal. Where one of the objective was to reduce extreme poverty, for which improvements were made in education, creating new educational institutions, both in schools and schools, likewise improved the infrastructure of Health Centers, among others. However, there are different opinions regarding the implementation that was carried out, where it has been labeled wasteful. During the period from 2012 to 2016, the economic growth rate was 2%, while public investment grew by 3% and with a 13% share of GDP
