Criminological approach of work rights of the people deprived of freedom in Ecuador

Abstract:

This article values the current importance of work rights, reflected in the speech on human rights and the protective normative relief it has generated. Based on this speech, people deprived of freedom are holders of rights. The purpose of this analysis is to discuss work rights under a criminological approach linked to education, culture and recreation, which allows the respect and dignity to be distinguished and studied from the perspective of fundamental rights. In conclusion, criminology and victimology contribute to understand the work environment of inmates and their links.
