Cuerpo y educación: análisis de la performatividad de género y la regulación del cuerpo en la Escuela de Derecho de la Universidad de Cuenca
Abstract:
Body and Education: Analysis of Gender Performativity and Body Regulation in the Law School from the University of Cuenca, this an ethnographic research that seeks to analyze, first, what are the mechanisms that dominant gender performativities which are constructed in the law school of the University of Cuenca, and how they relate to the normative model of masculinity and femininity proper to the binary and heterosexual vision of an androcentric and patriarchal society. Second, this research seeks to analyze how gender performativities had constructed the resists normative model, generating the visibility of another type of possible performativities. This research revolves around the problematization of yne unequal gender relations within the social dynamics, focusing the reflection on the reflection on the formation of lawyers and the influence that the normalization of inequality and gender violence has on the formative process of the students, as well as the relationship of this normalization with the homogenizing discourse characteristic of liberalism.
