Cumplimiento de la ley del uno por uno en las radios de Quito

Abstract:

This finally project is dedicated to the study of the article 103 or 1por1 of the Organic Law of Communication. The main objective of this thesis is to see if in Ecuador radio stations obey what is written in the law. To realize this investigation it was necessary to interview different artists to know their opinion about this law, also with the testimony of the media; in this case four radio stations were chosen, two public and two private, in which the people whose voices are broadcasted or are in charge of a program, gave their point of view and how their radios handle the broadcasting Ecuadorian music in their daily schedule. In addition, there are also some interviews this people in charge of the management of the copyrights, to know if there has been any change in the subject of rights or if it has remained the same and to see if it has increased the number of artists in the country or not; Finally, an interview was conducted with people working in SUPERCOM to know about statistics and their opinion of how the article 103 is handled in the country.
