Cómic digital: La expresión del relato pictórico de la escuela quiteña (Siglo XVII)

Abstract:

The following communicative product intends to and has the initial objective of developing a communicative product in form of a digital Comic for the recovery of pictorial and historic memory belonging to Escuela Quiteña (XVII century), inside of the cultural historical area from the city of Quito, determining the process that took place during the time of conquest from the Spanish in América, the evangelism method applied by the religious to the indigenous, criollo, and mestizo population, influencing their customs and traditions through the art where everything that was expressed and taught was about religion. Therefore, this is the reason that there exists a need to tell the story and comprehend the process and influence that these great artists with their works created and left a great contribution to the city, obtaining knowledge about this artistic wealth, where a miscegenation takes place not only in a social ambit, due to the fact that the pictorial art belonging to Quito had great influence from the city and its population, these great artists don’t leave their customs and achieve a miscegenation expressed through their canvases.
