DIGITAL COMPETENCE OF FUTURE TEACHERS TO CARRY OUT A PROCESS OF TEACHING AND LEARNING THROUGH VIRTUAL REALITY
Abstract:
The digital competence of future teachers is acquiring an added value in education due to the technological nature of society. The objective of this study is to know the digital competence of university students for the creation of contents through virtual reality. To achieve it, a descriptive and correlational design was followed in a cross-sectional sample of 169 students from the Faculty of Education, Economics and Technology of Ceuta (Spain), using a questionnaire as a data collection tool. The results reveal that the analyzed students have a medium level of digital competence, being statistically significant differences between the university degree and the academic course of the students.
