Abandonment in childhood and adolescence, determining factors in the effectiveness of administrative and judicial processes
Abstract:
Abandonment is considered as lack of care. In children it produces indelible consequences, psychological damage, incompatibility with society, problems in their social and emotional development and dependent personality. It is considered a serious or repeated neglect in the fulfillment of the obligations of their guardians to children and adolescents. The abandonment of minors can take different forms, the inaccuracy of attention between parents makes them leave children in public sectors without knowing the risk in which the infants can be, without knowing who them is around, they do not realize that children are more vulnerable to suffer psychological problems. It is known that the Ecuadorian State has legislated the process, although it is worth noting that there are cracks that prevent the effectiveness of administrative and judicial processes in the figure of abandonment. This is why this work focuses on analyzing and determining the factors or potential causes where the regulatory entities lack the legal force to mitigate and control the impact of abandonment on society, through the use and analysis of the Delphi method, General Method of Problem Solving and the Ishikawa diagram.
