DOGMATIC LEGAL STUDY OF INTEGRAL PROTECTION OF CHILDREN: LEA-DING ROLE OF SOCIAL CHANGE


Abstract:

The objective of this research is to carry out a dogmatic legal study of comprehensive protection, allowing for an interpretation of the legal instruments that have been established in Ecuador for the comprehensive protection of children and adolescents who have become true protagonists of social change. A bibliographic and documentary design was used, with a qualitative modality in which a descriptive-interpretative analysis of the legal regulations predominated. The type of research was legal dogmatic with the use of the exegetical method. The results allowed pointing out that international and national regulations have been generated that establish the integral protection of children and adolescents. It was concluded that currently children and adolescents are subjects of rights, human beings in formation and fundamental protagonists of social change; without discrimination, with absolute priority and with a superior interest in any circumstance.
