DQ controller for a grid-tied single-phase inverter with harmonics compensation


Abstract:

This article presents a DQ controller for regulating the output current of a grid-tied single-phase inverter. The controller is composed of several DQ controllers that regulate the fundamental component and the most relevant harmonics of the output current. According to the harmonic to be controlled, each DQ controller delays with different lapses the captured current. Then, different DQ transforms are carried out for the harmonics to be removed and for the fundamental component. Finally, the proposed controller is explained, based on the different DQ transforms of the current. The article carries out bode analyses of the open-loop transfer functions, the closed-loop transfer function, and the disturbance transfer function of the proposed controller, obtaining excellent results in the three bode analyses. Furthermore, the article validates the functionality of the controller with two simulations, changing the reference current and disturbing the input voltage, presenting good performance in both simulations
