Data Warehouse: Multidimensional Analysis of BAFICI using Power Pivot

Abstract:

This research article aims to build a Data Warehouse of the International Independent Film Festival of Buenos Aires (BAFICI), applying Kimball as a development methodology, ETL for the extraction, transformation and loading of data and Power Pivot as the tool for the construction, analysis and presentation of results. The multidimensional analysis that was carried out of the dimensions films, directors, countries, sales, sections and places, it allowed obtaining indicators that help to make precise decisions about BAFICI's performance.
