Abstract:

Resources efficient use is a continual concern in universities agendas. This topic demand the development of specific techniques, due to the particularly characteristics of this institutions. The aim of this work was to develop an exhaustive review of the main particularities of the universities efficiency evaluation, to demonstrate the feasibility and pertinence of the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) as a university efficiency measurement technique.
