About Cracking of Reinforced Concrete Beams with Flexure. Theoretical & Experimental Comparisons.

Abstract:

After considering some theories about cracking of reinforced concrete beams with flexure subjected to constant moment, comparisons are carried out regarding the main parameters which determine the problem. The results provided by the theories are moreover compared to a set of experimental data obtained from reinforced beams with both plain round bars and deformed bars. The same results are then compared to those given by the application of FIP-CEB and CNR Codes.
