Demographic and clinical characteristics of patients with type two diabetes at the Cochancay Health Center
Abstract:
The general objective was to describe the prevalence of patients with diabetes mellitus according to demographic and clinical characteristics. A qualitative, descriptive-correlational, retrospective, cross-sectional, non-experimental qualitative study was carried out, in which information was collected from patients through the study, analysis and exhaustive review of the clinical histories of 165 male and female patients. Data were collected through an information collection form from the patients' clinical histories, which included demographic and clinical data. A descriptive analysis was performed using percentages, frequencies and Pearson's Chi-square test.
