Desarrollo de competencias emocionales, educativas y parentales, en padres, madres y/o representantes de alumnos del noveno año de educación general básica
Abstract:
The objective of this research was to identify the development of educational, emotional and parental competences in parents of school-aged adolescents, this is framed in a quasi-experimental design by the process of information collection in pre-test and post-test, which has a quantitative approach, the sample consisted of 17 participants, of which 7 correspond to the experimental group and 10 to the control group. For its effect, the following instruments were applied: sociodemographic record and questionnaire of parental competences, at the end of the program it was verified that the impact of this has been positive for the experimental group in the following dimensions: assertive communication; need for attention, respect, affection and recognition; self-esteem and assertiveness; problem solving, discipline, rules and regulations. For its part, the scores of the control group are maintained and have decreased in relation to the dimensions cited. In this way there are positive changes in the participants of the program that will allow them to put into practice their parental abilities in the upbringing of their children.
