Desarrollo de un prototipo en IoT para la sistematización de los parámetros que controlan la producción de café versión 1.0. Proyecto FCI 009-2021 de la Universidad de Guayaquil”

Abstract:

In this thesis project, a web system was developed together with its respective mobile application through programming tools to optimize the control and monitoring of the parameters or factors of coffee production, due to the problems that coffee plantations currently present are very important as the reduction of productivity in the crops, lack of competitiveness, changes in 4 international prices, the poor quality of the coffee tree, humidity problems and the lack of investment in the coffee sector. These studies are important to analyze to prevent risks and diseases in the coffee tree. IoT technology is very useful and favorable in remote controls and frequently for the respective monitoring of the quality of the plant, replacing the manual way of measuring them. This project helps and provides the experience to the administrator in charge of taking care of the coffee plantation to work directly from the cloud, reducing processes with the coffee plantation. The methodology used is "cascade" due to the characteristics of the project, which allows dividing them by stages, where in each one their respective tests were carried out to obtain a final result. Through the respective studies, tests and visits to the coffee plantation, it was possible to observe the importance of collecting data and information on coffee parameters, which are soil moisture, atmospheric pressure and temperature. The application and the web page were developed using the Ionic and Angular frameworks, which facilitated an optimal way of working, and through the Firebase database they visualize and help control and monitor coffee production.
