Design and Implementation of a Power Generation System Using an Stationary Bicycle
Abstract:
This paper shows the design, mounting and operation of a power generation unit coupled to a spinning bicycle. The pilot allows two operation modes, stand-alone and grid-tied. Taking account of the price, this system could be interesting to reduce energy consumption in fitness centers where many spinning bicycles are constantly used during the day.
