Determinación de lineamientos técnicos para el desarrollo e implementación de la nueva tecnología denominada televisión digital terrestre en las ciudades de Quito, Guayaquil y Cuenca

Abstract:

The project called "Determination of technical guidelines for the development and implementation of digital terrestrial television in the cities of Quito, Guayaquil and Cuenca" is a set of guidelines, measures, technical standards and recommendations necessary for the authors involved in the process of The introduction of new technology in the country will be carried out and, as a consequence, an optimal introduction of DTT will be implemented in the cities of Quito, Guayaquil and Cuenca. In this sense, three main authors are defined, namely: Public Institutions, Television Frequency Concessionaires and Viewer Citizenship; which are a leading part of the results of research carried out. In addition, results of technical tests are presented to the benefits provided by the ISDB-Tb television standard, such as the EWBS system and GAP FILLER equipment. The titling project establishes a roadmap with effective recommendations to carry out Phase 1 of the Transitional Master Plan for Digital Terrestrial Television in Ecuador, and in this way resolve the stagnation that exists today.
