Determinación del tiempo de antesis femenina en los híbridos interespecíficos de palma Elaeis oleífera x Elaeis guineensis en la Estación Experimental Santo Domingo del INIAP
Abstract:
The study was carried out at INIAP's Santo Domingo Experimental Station in La Concordia, Ecuador. The exact duration of female flower beforeis was evaluated in OxG hybrids of different genetic origins cross-breeding factors (2/4) Taisha x 3B-384P, (4/4) Taisha x 3B-384P, (2/2) Taisha x 3B-384P and (5/4) Taisha x 3B384P) and 3 inflorescences (Inflorescence 1, Inflorescence 2, Inflorescence 3). A split plot design was used with three repetitions, for average comparisons Duncan tests were performed at 5%. The following states were evaluated: inflorescences 1-3 states, Inflorescences 35 states, Inflorescences 5-7 states, Inflorescences 7-8 states, Inflorescences 8-9 states, and bract numbers. According to the results: 1) The duration of the lowest receptive beforeis period was reported at crossing (4/4) Taisha x 3B-384P, it took less time with an average of two days (45.67 hours) from state 5 to state 9. The highest corresponded to the crossing (2/4) Taisha x 3B-384P, in stage 7 to 9, it took three days (65.86 hours) where more pollen was raised; 2) The duration of the lowest beforeis (receptivity) period was presented in flower 1 of stage 7 to 8 with an average of 45.98 hours. The highest beforeis was presented in flowers 3 and 4 with an average of 46.01 hours respectively in stage 7 to 8 and 3) Hybrid (4/4) Taisha x 3B-384P (group 1) with an average of 1160.44 bracts presenting the lowest uniformity with 2630.30 black flowers, 782.00 white flowers and 69.00 of ungerminated flowers.
