Determinants of the innovation strategy: an analysis of the business sector of Imbabura

Abstract:

This paper aims to determine the innovation strategies and perform a business sector analysis of the province of Imbabura, for which it has been proposed to theoretically base the process of innovation and the variables that underpin a model that allows measuring the distinctive capacities of Companies to generate significant changes that are economically valuable. Likewise, the capacity to generate innovation is analyzed by the degree of intervention of entrepreneurs to face the environment in which they develop their economic activities. It is important to mention that this study contributes to delimit the strategic factors categorizing them by sectors and economic activities, as well as checking the hypotheses raised through inferences of the results obtained during the present investigation.
