Determinar las infecciones vaginales en embarazadas adolescentes en la Maternidad Matilde Hidalgo de Procel 2016-2017
Abstract:
Vaginal infections are very frequent in women and even more in pregnant women due to the change in their vaginal pH, heat, humidity. And they have been associated with vaginal infections as one of the complications in pregnancy, infections can appear at any time of pregnancy. This present work called "DETERMINING VAGINAL INFECTIONS IN PREGNANT ADOLESCENTS IN MATERNITY" MATILDE HIDALGO DE PROCEL "2016- 2017 It has a specific objective; Determine the percentage of pregnant adolescents with vaginal infections, Determine complications of vaginal infections in maternity Matilde Hidalgo De Procel in the period 2016-2017, is a retrospective, quantitative work. It was carried out based on a collection of medical records of 394 patients who attended the outpatient service of the maternity ward of the Matilde Hidalgo de xiv Procel in the period of December 2016 - November 2017, 225 patients met the inclusion criteria from which they were obtained. the following results: the prevalence of vaginal infections in the maternity is of 57.10% and the most affected age group is among pregnant women 18 years with 22% and 19 years with 27%, it was determined that of the vaginal infections more common is bacterial vaginosis and in relation to pbkp_redisposing risk factors for vaginal infections is the early onset of sexual life (10-15 years) with 24%, the complications that were shown were the 225 patients who attended the consultation : preterm delivery (6 patients); premature membrane rupture (2) due to candidiasis, preterm delivery (4), premature membrane rupture (12) due to bacterial vaginosis; and no complications from vaginal trichomoniasis.
