Development of a prototype for measuring vital signs of older adults using lower limb prostheses

Abstract:

This paper presents the development of an electronic device whose characteristics allow it to be adaptable to a prosthesis of the lower limb used by an elderly or elderly person with the aim of being able to carry out constant monitoring through a smartphone device vital signs such as heart rate, body temperature, blood oxygen saturation and blood pressure, through the use of non-invasive sensors and wireless data transmission.
