Diagnosis and intervention of university orientation needs: an educational innovation experience of Challenge-Based Learning


Abstract:

The change from a purely theoretical teaching to a practical one constitutes part of the paradigm shift in universities, which uses various innovative educational methodologies whose results are reflected in initiatives such as this work. Educational innovation, as a methodological-didactic process, contributes to the improvement of learning and the development of skills, in addition, it links the motivation of students and teachers as decisive actors in the educational process. This educational innovation work is part of the line of identification of guidance needs in university students, whose purpose is to design and implement institutional support programs that contribute to the academic success and comprehensive development of students throughout their studies. As a result, orientation and intervention proposals associated with the academic and personal needs of the students are obtained, for an efficient and comprehensive intervention.
