Dialogue as a linguistic epiphany: From methodical rationality to funded rationality in the listen logos (hören)

Abstract:

The critical transformation of methodical rationality into dialogical hermeneutics falls within the framework of the so-called "linguistic turn" in which philosophy is involved during the twentieth century, where the dimension of the linguistic is particularly important, and in which the Hermeneutics ceases to be understood as mandatory to understand, to become a "practical task" based on the Philosophy of Life or Lebenswelt, giving way to the Gadamerian hermeneutic ontology. The aim of this proposal is to think of the dialogical model as an alternative to methodical rationality, resignifying man as dialogue, in a linguistically constituted world.
