Differential characteristics in the exercise of knowledge management in organizations: a Mexico-Cuba comparison


Abstract:

This article is a reflection on knowledge management processes that are followed by the Mexican and Cuban companies, considering, as a reference, the social, economic and political differences that prevail in the countries herein analyzed. The main intention is to make a fair comparison to show the different course of action taken by each country concerning advances, enhancing the typical features of methods to administer, produce, manage and disseminate knowledge in organizations. Also, there is a schematic presentation of the different ways of organizational behavior and of how a methodology resulting almost from capitalist systems can or cannot be feasible in the proper conditions of the entities where it is applied. As a reference, this article takes the principal aspects and their repercussions in the companies themselves and their employees during the fulfillment of their labor, in any context that may come up.
