Digital nyquist WDM for access networks using limited bandwidth reflective semiconductor optical amplifiers
Abstract:
Digital Nyquist-WDM is experimentally demonstrated using RSOA-based colorless ONUs, providing a 6-fold enhancement of transmission capacity through 25km fiber, and showing digital Nyquist-WDM as promising candidate for cost-effective flexible bandwidth allocation in PONs. © 2012 OSA.
