Dimensions of knowledge management in shrimp farming companies in Ecuador

Abstract:

Based on the importance of shrimp farming for Ecuador, and knowledge as a strategic resource, this research characterizes the organizational practices of the knowledge management, from the generation dimension. The multivariate statistical technique of exploratory factor analysis was applied to study the dimensions or factors underlying the relationships between variables. A questionnaire randomly implemented to 26 shrimp producers from the province of El Oro.
