Discrete Model of Dual Active Bridge Series Resonant Converter


Abstract:

This work presents a discrete model of the Dual Active Bridge Series Resonant Converter (DABSRC). This model allows us to pbkp_redict with higher accuracy the dynamic behavior of the converter at medium and high frequencies. The model is calculated considering some parasites elements. Furthermore, the effect of dead time at high frequencies. The results obtained from the theoretical model and the effects of dead time obtained by simulations are then validated by experimental procedures. The proposed model has a significant impact in the design of controllers in the stability analysis.
