Actitud de los docentes frente a la inclusión de estudiantes con discapacidad. Caso colegio Marie Clarac
Abstract:
The present work investigates the attitude with which teachers take on the issue of disability with which teachers take on the issue of disability with the students of the Marie Clarac school; of teachers towards students with disabilities who study at the Marie Clarac school, it is based on criteria that demonstrate how attitude plays an important role in the teaching process because it not only requires the management of content curricular, but must also be addressed in conjunction with other elements such as pbkp_redisposition, enthusiasm, patience, empathy. The main objective is to analyze the attitude that teachers have towards students with some type of disability included in the Marie Clarac educational institution. From this perspective, it is proposed to establish in practice an adequate teaching attitude to achieve a harmonious and inclusive coexistence in the classroom, where thanks to its guidance, the student with disabilities becomes the protagonist of joint work and develops their learning capacities to the maximum. The data were collected through classroom observations in seventh and tenth years of Basic General Education; through interviews with parents consisting of six open questions; and the Scale of Attitudes towards people with disabilities. Form G of Verdugo, Arias and Jenaro composed of thirty-seven questions was applied. Through the responses, differences in attitude are evident in teachers; some adopt an attitude of commitment and good disposition with the students, motivating then to a participative and collaborative learning within the classroom; Likewise, it is noted that there is a low level of teachers who do not handle an appropriate attitude towards students with disabilities because they do not give adequate treatment to the educational needs of students who have some type of disability, tney do not apply the inclusive methodology in the classroom, or motivate the group participation.
