Diseño de KPI´S (Indicadores claves de rendimiento) en una empresa dedicada a la fabricación de cajas de cartón.

Abstract:

In the preparation of this proposal for the improvement of the production process, a form of control is proposed through the "DESIGN OF KPI’S (KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS) IN A COMPANY DEDICATED TO THE MANUFACTURE OF CARDBOARD BOXES”. To identify and minimize the current problems in the process and for the reasons that were not identified in the current situation and that caused corrective actions in the process, at the end of the month the productive performance was low. Therefore, it is proposed to establish a source of control for reduce the causes of the problems and cover the needs of the process with development tools and methods that provide information and data for the design of the performance indicators that will be used in each process area. With the analysis of the results elaborated in the company and the definition of the control of the indicators of efficiency, effectiveness and productivity, goals and objectives are established in the process. Also with the analysis of the operation diagrams and flowchart in the method implementation, the production time was reduced by applying the questions of the estimation method, a saving of 16.65 minutes in the manufacturing process in the company was produced to provide an increase in the productivity. In order to ensure the control of the performance indicators proposed in the cardboard box manufacturing process, two programs were proposed: Theoretical / practical learning training program for workers. Preventive program to the corrugator and printers.
