Diseño de riego, drenaje y gramado para la cancha de football del Estadio Municipal del cantón Santa Lucía


Abstract:

The present research work, "Design of irrigation, drainage and lawn" was carried out in the sports facilities of the municipal stadium, Santa Lucia canton, Guayas province, whose geographical coordinates are 1 ° 42 '50 " South latitude - 1 ° 42 '50 "West longitude an elevation of 5msnm, part of its surface belongs, to Tropical climate zone, Mega thermal - Humid with temperatures between 25 and an 26ºC and average annual rainfall between 1000 and 1400 mm. The general objective was to design the irrigation, drainage and lawn systems for the football stadium of the municipal in order to guarantee the functionality and comfort of the pitch every day. In the execution of the field work, for data collection, we used: tape measure, beacons, surveying equipment, GPS and calculator, whose processing was carried out by computer with the programs AutoCAD and Civil Cad with the purpose of designing altimetry and Plan metric planes. The design of the automatic sprinkler irrigation system will operate with an electric pump of 10 Hp which drives a lateral irrigation of 5 sprinklers, each of 20.27 G.P.M and radius of wetting of 19 m. The proposed main pipe is 110mm in diameter and the secondary pipe is 50mm. The football field will have seven irrigation positions, with the corresponding activation valve of 2 ", operating at 42 minute intervals. The irrigation sheet to be applied to the lawn will be 6.6 mm /day. The drainage design basically consists of installing a main and secondary piping system with fishbone design, the main lateral manifold will have a commercial diameter of 110 mm and secondary drains, diameters of 90 mm, to be spaced at 7 m . The slope to be established in the pipe network will be 2% on sandy soil, where the estimated infiltration rate is 20 mm/h. The type of grass to be introduced will be Bermuda Grass, which is tolerant to mechanical stress, low cut pruning, pests and diseases. In addition, it will providing an aesthetic and decorative aspect to the court, provide security and comfort to the players. The Bermuda Grass seed is usually planted at 30 to 40 grams per m².
