Diseño de un Sistema de Gestión Ambiental basado en la Norma ISO 14001:2015 para el GAD Municipal de Nabón

Abstract:

The current work was carried out with the objective to provide to the Decentralized Municipal Government of Nabón an Environmental Management System that allows it to increase the environmental sensitivity of the members of this institution and to present them an efficient and effective strategy to reach the objectives in the commitment of the protection of the environment and pollution prevention. For the development of this project; In the first instance, an Initial Environmental Review was carried out in order to know the diagnosis of the current situation of the Municipal GAD of Nabón with respect to the environment, allowing us to identify which processes the GAD performs generate negative impacts and with this information design the Environmental Management System; Interviews and surveys were also carried out on the personnel working in this unit, in - situ visits were made to the GAD in order to obtain a better rapprochement, a bibliographical review of the information in this unit was carried out and, subsequently, taking as reference the structure of the Standard ISO 14001: 2015 proceeded to design the Environmental Management System. Once the design was completed and the necessary adjustments were made, we proceeded to socialize with all those involved
