Diseño de un centro de tratamiento integral para personas con discapacidad en el cantón Yantzaza, provincia de Zamora Chinchipe

Abstract:

In the Ecuador 6.48 % of the total population has some type of disability. In the province of Zamora Chinchipe 3 615 persons exist and in the canton(corner) Yantzaza 655 being of these 40 % of type physical, 31 intellectual % and 29 sensory % (CONADIS, 2017). Few centers of rehabilitation exist for persons with disability, especially for those of physical, intellectual and sensory type, proposing him(you,them) in the present work the creation of a new installation that allows to rehabilitate a major number of patients. The existing centers are real estate adapted by the municipal GAD that do not expire with the in force regulation as for accessibility, being many of them spaces not adapted to the needs of the center. Since a possible solution of the problem appears the design of a center for persons with disability that would be located in the canton(corner) Yantzaza, in a natural environment with predominance of a hot humid climate of annual everage temperature of 25ºC. The center would offer service of rehabilitation and for such a reason there is foreseen the installation of a zone of horticulture in order to develop an integral therapy that uses the natural qualities for the rehabilitation of physical, intellectual and sensory dysfunctions.
