Diseño de un centro recreacional deportivo, con enfoque sustentable para el cantón Santa Elena, provincia de Santa Elena

Abstract:

In the present work an existing problem is taken into account in the Cantonal Head of Santa Elena, which is the lack of recreational, social, cultural and sporting places. The general objective is to propose the design of a Recreational Sports Center, with a sustainable approach to promote the recreational and sports activities of the Santa Elena canton, in order to benefit the urban and social development of its inhabitants. The scientific method of social research was applied to obtain answers to the questions. Regarding the population study, the Development and Territorial Planning Plan of the Santa Elena Canton 2014 - 2019 is taken as Reference Framework, and in terms of the Physical and Legal Environment, different revised concepts are taken in the exploration. The investigation confirmed the lack of spaces already indicated by what was considered as conclusion the Design of a Recreational and Sports Center in the sector of the neighborhoods Alborada and Ciudadela The UNE instead of a park that has planned to build in that sector the GADM according to the PD and OT. The sustainable approach of the project is manifested in the sustainable social development, according to the Bruntland report in which it refers to sustainability "is not only about the relationship of society with the environment and natural resources, but also internal relations of the society"; the population of the area of direct and indirect influence will change their way of life, children and young people will learn to recycle waste such as plastic, paper, etc., to close the water faucets, or turn off the light, to consume and not affect the earth with the waste.
