Diseño de un proceso de Gestión de requisitos, basado en el marco de Referencia COBIT 5, para el Departamento de Soluciones Informáticas de la Subgerencia de Tecnologías de la Información de la empresa ETAPA EP.

Abstract:

The present work aims at the Design of a “Process of Requirements Management”, based on the framework of reference COBIT 5, for the Department of Computer Solutions of the Information Technologies Sub-Area in ETAPA EP Company. For the mentioned design, its performed an analysis of the process “BAI02 Manage the Definition of Requirements”, of the framework of reference, generating the activities, roles, responsibilities and documents necessary to carry out a better control of the process. Through the self-evaluation of the Process of Requirements Management based on the analysis of the level of capacity of IT processes, it is established that the functional requirements don not fully meet the needs and expectations of the organization. COBIT 5 groups together different standards and methodologies, being a tool of good practices proven in many companies worldwide in the handling of the management of the technology areas, which allows to have a control of the processes obtaining information based on compliance indicators of the management of the areas of technology, which allows to have a control of the processes obtaining information based on compliance indicators , which serves for decision making in search of continuous improvement
