Diseño de un sistema de gestión de salud pública en atención primaria, mediante la ordenanza del Consejo de Salud del cantón Atacames


Abstract:

The social construction of health and local governments, are a key component of health systems; This recognition is based on evidence of their impact on health and population development, the central objective promote the development of healthy communities in the canton Atacames, to contribute to the creation of healthy environments and behaviors in community settings; encouraging participation, commitment and determination of the municipal authorities, public health, community organizations and other stakeholders leading to a management model in line with the decentralization process, through the Cantonal Health Council. Relevant aspects were established the characteristics of the organization and management of health services and the administrative model and the perception of the population. Qualitative methodology - case study. The proposal is to establish implementing health management strategy Cantonal Health Council to achieve healthy communities through complementary work between Municipality, network of state services, population and other local institutions. The usefulness of the proposal is to have clear mechanisms of organization, planning, coordination, responsibility, monitoring and evaluation to achieve permanent changes in quality of life and meet the changing needs of the population, emphasis was coordinated between the Municipality of Atacames, Health District where a field of intervention as an advisor to the University community projects opens. The direct beneficiaries are the people of Atacames
