Actualización del Proyecto Educativo Institucional (PEI), por medio del refuerzo de la Identidad Institucional y la inclusión de la Planificación Curricular Institucional (PCI) de la Escuela de Educación Básica Particular Rainbow Playschool de la ciudad de Loja

Abstract:

Upgrading the Institutional Educational Project for the Escuela de Educación Básica Particular Rainbow Playschool valid from 2015-2019 in order to strengthen the current Educational Project document in the aspect of the Institutional Identity including a relevant Curricular Project adapted to the context in which the school works and to showcase the pedagogic foundations for the teaching and learning processes that take place in the school. The present investigative work was set in the premises of Escuela de Educación Básica Particular Rainbow Playschool, located in 02-16 París Street and Zoilo Rodríguez Street in Loja City, Ecuador. It is supported by the participation of the owners and legal representatives, as well as members of the administrative personnel, teachers, parents and students in the school year of 2016-2017, through surveys, meetings and workshops. With all the information gathered the mission and vision statements in the current document have been enriched, as well as the Institutional Curriculum, documents that have been developed for further approval by the Ministry of Education. This goal of reinforcing the institutional identity was met in a collective manner as it involved all the members of the educational community witch had the positive effect of empowering and committing them to the full achievement of the set objectives.
