Diseño de una máquina de figuración de barras de acero de refuerzo para hormigón armado


Abstract:

The design of the steel bars bender machine used for reinforcement in concrete constructions has the purpose of reducing labor and increasing the production time. It is also meant to improve the quality of the bending on bars currently made. As the manual benders, mechanical benders also bend bars around a matrix, but the mechanical bending process becomes automatic. This allows to use 42 (60) degrees bars in bending the material in few seconds by pushing a button or a pedal. In addition to its rapid folding, mechanical benders also allow the worker to predetermine the bend angle through an adjustment control dial a pin named pin switch. Once the angle is fixed, all folds are identical until the panel meets again. This feature is useful when you need big quantities of a type of hook or a particular shape. Calculation of the parts involved in folding has been made. Moreover, the design of elements and parts that form the machine has been presented. Manufacturing costs of the machine in terms of mechanical parts, machine tools, manufacturing and labor are detailed in the respective tables according to the material to be used. The design also provides some attached information about the maintenance, installation, operation, safety in the workplace, among others. It will also have conclusions and recommendations.
