Diseño de una vivienda de dos plantas con soluciones prefabricadas
Abstract:
Ecuador is considered a seismic country and unfortunately the traditional homes being built every day are vulnerable to seismic load effects, it is quality depends on labor therefore; new solutions to generate structurally safe, economic and comfortable housing are needed. It has been observed that in developing countries with similar circumstances to Ecuador's housing shortage, the solution that has presented quality and meets the objective of generating housing communities is prefabrication. We find examples in Chile, Colombia and Cuba, where housing projects have been generated on a larger scale to either help in cases of emergency or social projects. Based on this situation and with the experience of building several steel supporting structures, the study of this thesis focuses it is research on which prefabricated solutions exist in the domestic market, what are their characteristics and best recommended uses so that they can be adhered to steel structure thus generating a product that is both high quality and structurally secure. The manufactured home design will meet the objective of being removable and recoverable in the event of emergencies or unexpected movement of soils. Prefabrication allows quality control of the materials produced at the workshop as well as designing connectors to eliminate assembly errors and not generating defective or low quality housing designs. Lastly, the cost estimates for each building is compared to assess which is the most economical and by adding the additional benefits, conclude what building structure is of greater benefit to users.
