Abstract:

The purpose of this project is to propose the design of the second stage of the Babahoyo waterfront, with the aim of strengthening the downtown sector of the canton urbanistically and creating spaces for public space and recreation. Taking into consideration the economic growth of Babahoyo in recent years. And the implementation of the concepts of ecotourism and sustainability. It is proposed the design of green spaces preserving the environment and are complemented with recreational spaces, playgrounds, among others, this design will be integrated harmoniously to the stage of the boardwalk designed and built previously. This stage of the boardwalk will create spaces of connection with the nature of the place respecting and prioritizing the use of the existing flora, avoiding as much as possible barriers towards the estuary this will be taken into consideration for the design and recreation of the inhabitants and tourists.
