Abstract:

The purpose of the current technical project is to simulate an automatic transfer system for an industry using the current training board located within the industrial systems laboratory, in which the failure conditions in the public network are established such as: phase loss, fall and voltage rise. Then, the necessary adjustments and connections are made to the control elements such as voltage supervisor, Automatic Unit, electrical interlock, control boards, timers and relays. In a fault or abnormal condition, the voltage supervisor sends an alert signal to the automatic unit, which in turn sends a control signal to start the generator set, leaving it ready for entry to the grid. Then the automatic unit disables the motorized breaker of the public network and the electrical / mechanical interlock of the public network, in the same way the automatic unit sends a signal to the timer, which will start counting the time for the activation of the motorized generator breaker, causing the load to be supplied with energy through the generator set.
