Diseño e implementación de un analizador de calidad de energía de alto desempeño, basado en tecnología CompactRIO FPGA.
Abstract:
In the present job it is designed, implemented and evaluated a hardware and software architecture applied to a power quality analyzer prototype for three phase circuits; the prototype is based on embedded controller CompactRIO. The software architecture of the PQA prototype consists of three main algorithms that are run on: the FPGA, the real time processor and in the host. The FPGA runs the voltage and current signals acquisition algorithms; the real time processor runs the parameters calculating functions: RMS voltage, RMS current, frequency, voltage variation, current variation, active power, reactive power, apparent power, power factor and total harmonic distortion; finally, the host device runs routines of graphical display and storage of each variable. To validate the PQA prototype, firstly, it was proceeded to run the measurement of electrical parameters and quality indicators of energy in UGTI building (UTPL, Loja, Ecuador), at the second stage of the PQA prototype validation it was analyzed the similarity of the measurement through the Wilcoxon test between the reference instrument signal and the prototype signal, also it was made a comparison between the central values and standard deviations of those signals. The obtained results were: in the electric parameters the percentage error varies from 0,01 % till 8,17 % and in the energy quality indicators the percentage error varies from 0,27 % till 0,24%.
