Diseño e implementación de un sistema integrador de borde con funcionalidades de routing, firewall y central telefónica para pymes

Abstract:

The present project has as main objective the design and implementation of an integrator system, which provides to the small and medium enterprises of Ecuador Routing, firewall and private branch exchange functionalities, seeking to obtain an optimal and low-cost solution. In this way, there is a preliminary investigation of the unified systems existing in the market with similar functions, their main characteristics and costs overall or specifically, of official distributors in the Region. Then an analysis is made to detect the main technological needs of software and hardware of the companies, together with the possible solutions that allow to obtain a system with the necessary technical requirements, to finally, to design the right solution and related to the costs involved. The realization the prototype is implemented under the parameters previously defined with agreeable management interface and easy control of its characteristics. Based on the device of Zotac ZBOX CI327, under the systems of FreePBX and PfSense, whose last is controlled by the interface of the telephone exchange when adding a module of configuration for the same one. In addition, the general system complies with the budget estimate consulted to the companies through a survey. Performance and execution results are acceptable for a small business environment, however scalability and increased functionality for specific occasions requires migration to a mini computer with more powerful resources.
