Diseño y construcción de un prototipo de medición y control de consumo de energía eléctrica para dispositivos domésticos.

Abstract:

The present work presents a control tool that provides information and security to the user, this tool, controls the connection and disconnection of the equipment that is plugged into the prototype and also generates an estimate of both electric and economic consumption. The power consumption monitoring function is in real time; the process to monitor begins by taking the electrical current signal that circulates in the connected device, the signal is sampled and the respective operations of the calculation for power and electric consumption are executed. The measured data is sent via wireless communication to a mysql database, and can be viewed from a mobile phone or computer with the help of a web server. The results of the measurements are compared with a Fluke 434 series II.
