Dynamic Analysis of Elasto-Plastic Trusses Subject to Seismic Actions in Geometrically Nonlinear Range.

Abstract:

A theory is formulated for the analysis of the dynamic behavior of trusses, taking into account the changes of geometry of the structure and the viscous damping. Numerical investigations developed by using an incremental procedure have been conducted on an analytical model subject to static and seismic actions.
