Dynamic coverage infrastructure of vehicles in VANET with scalable environments on demand

Abstract:

Wireless communication in highways is an important issue for a correct growth of developing cities, generating studies of location and coverage on vehicles communication infrastructure when designing wireless networks on dynamics environment with changing topology. This paper presents the deployment of a VANET infrastructure in several urban scenarios and therefore seeks through an optimization algorithm to efficiently locate the RSUs in the planning area and estimate a changing V2I coverage radius, after that, main objective to be achieved is to provide dynamic coverage of the vehicular network with a previous statistical analysis, that simultaneously with the K-Means clustering method, will differentiate areas with higher vehicular density and to be able to finish with the analysis on the infrastructure, besides estimating the necessary radius change for the RSUs.
