Administração por quem e para quem? uma análise behaviorista de processos de recursos humanos


Abstract:

Work is a very important activity for all people in today’s society. Many bodies of knowledge add contributions to the discussions of labor. However each point of view is strongly influenced by its values, practices and by the way it produces knowledge. This research aimed at exposing from the behavior analysis point of view the alignment, effectivity and implicit or explicit consequences resultant from propositions made by management to issues and processes involving human beings in and out of the workplace. This was done through the analysis of a publication which is extensively used by managers in Brazil. There have been found differences/similarities between the two points of view of how should labor management be and the compromise made by both approaches (behaviorist and managerial). There are similarities on how they plan the world should be and the goals they are trying to achieve. However there are a lot of differences on the techniques used and the results produced. The result of this research may help clarify both proposals and spread the methods used by both approaches as well as the results each one wishes to accomplish
