EDUCATIONAL GUIDANCE IN THE PROFESSIONAL PEDAGOGICAL ACTIVITY OF THE UNIVERSITY TEACHER

Abstract:

The demands of university education in the twenty-first century, place the university teacher before new demands, which emphasizes the extension of their pedagogical activity to attribute responsibility as a guide or a mediator. The process of training the student in the average facilitates access to the necessary resources to understand, explain, make decisions and face conflicts from an adequate knowledge of oneself. This assumes the possibility of becoming the university teacher into an educational counselor, even when the policies and theoretical reflections of this framework are still diffuse. The investigation of the topic from several angles allowed the authors to present an approach to the foundation of the relationship between educational orientation and the professional pedagogical activity of the university teacher and delineate a profile of educational teacher.
