Adopción de la aplicación profunda de briquetas de urea (apbu) por parte de tres pequeños agricultores de la asociación américa lomas cooperativa nueva estancia en sistemas de producción de arroz de la provincia del Guayas

Abstract:

This research exposes the Adaptability Analysis based on the Peter Hildebrand theory (AA) of deep application of urea briquets (APBU), which shows a technology for the efficient use of urea on rice production systems’ fertilizing. This technology is about compacting or pressing the commercial urea by using a pressing machine that forms the urea briquets, which offers a profitable alternative for the crops fertilizing versus the traditional method (spreading). For the development of the adaptability analysis we set experimental units of the technology with three volunteer farmers of the Nueva Estancia association in the Plan America area in Daule, Guayas province, which were enabled by collecting data which allowed to analyze the farmers or environments by using the three treatments: average production, urea brickets treatment, and the control treatment unit without brickets. This was complemented with the questionnaires analysis and the economic analysis of each farmers as a source of data, which were established as domains of advising based on characterization factors: by using 4 to 5qq of urea by hectare by cycle and the advantages of the yield of the INIAP 15 seeds variety. Besides that, the urea brickets application a urea fertilizer savings of 60%, which leads to additional economic winnings superior to 14% in the best of cases.
