EL barrio popular y los pobladores populares: un abordaje antropológico desde la perspectiva audiovisual al barrio bastión popular

Abstract:

This document is the result of an investigation made in a popular neighborhood named Bastión Popular blocks 2 and 3 in Guayaquil city, with the objective of knowing the social environment of its inhabitants through an anthropology aspect. For this investigation we used a qualitative approach, where the sample was conformed to three interviews, one focus group and twenty-nine photos in Bastión Popular, who contributed to the investigation with photographs inside the neighborhood and participating in a discussion group. As a result, we discovered some characteristics related to their lifestyle, their identity and the importance of the space.
