Abstract:

In Ecuador there was no law to support the prevention of animal abuse, thus defending their In Ecuador there was no law to support the prevention of animal abuse, the law, that can defend their lives; however, today the Constitution, condemns the mistreatment, abandonment and death of animals. With the existence of this protective law, society must comply with the treatment of animals; however, uncertainties arise regarding the application of the Organic Law of Animal Welfare "LOBA", because not everybody knows about penalties. The present research work is focused on the knowledge of the Loba Law in the city of Guayaquil, to show whether or not the population is informed. For the correct elaboration of the project it was taken into account aspects like the index of mistreatment in the city of Guayaquil; it was investigated the opinion of the inhabitants of the sector the Vergeles concerning animal abuse, and finally it was elaborated a communicational plan in order to make known the benefits of the Organic Law of Animal Welfare. To obtain accurate data for the development of the project, it was created a questionnaire and it was asked ten questions in order to obtain concrete data of the sector. Based on the obtained results it was created a communication plan through a set of suitable strategies, which will help with the dissemination of information to raise awareness about animal abuse.
